This game went a lot like the Villanova game - slow, shitty, not a great deal of offense. UTEP just wouldn't go away and the Hawks would step on the gas. After the game Bill said "We were a better team before we came down to the Bahamas. And we didn't learn a damn thing."

Battle 4 Atlantis: KU 87 - Wake Forest 78

This is Boady's version of a Jayhawk shooting a Demon Dicken to death.

The Hawks pulled it out, though Wake hung around.

After that lovely Towson beatdown, the Hawks play stupid, consistently overrated Wake Forest in the Bahamas today. The Battle for Atlantis.

Kansas Jayhawks vs Towson Tigers - 11/22/13, Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS

Took Boady to the Towson game tonight. Lot's of fun. We didn't have time for a lot of photos but I did find a perfect parking space and we were home by 9:40. The Hawks were on fire in the first half, shooting like 68% or something ridiculous, and scoring 48 points while holding Towson to 16 in the first half. The Tigers got frustrated, and you could tell that the crowd was getting to them.

Today I talked with Mr Lear, as in Charles Lear, who played for Phog Allen, at work. We talked mainly about how impressed we were with Mason. Mr Lear said: "He's the only one with the guts right now to go to the basket." He's right.

Towson: 58

KU out-rebounded Towson 39-27.

Somehow they lost the turnover battle 12-11.

Towson only had one assist in the first half and 8 for the game. KU had 19.

Joel Embiid had 3 glorious blocks. Boady said "That's our next Withey right there!"
